Purpose
The Stanley G. Herron Scholarship was created in memory of Stanley Herron, a lifelong member of the Marlette community. He graduated from Marlette High School in 1925 and spent 30 years farming northeast of town before co-owning the Standard Service Station at Main and Ervin Streets for another 30 years. This scholarship honors his strong ties to Marlette and his dedication to hard work.
