Purpose
The Kim Rhead Leadership Scholarship was established in 1999 by former 83rd District State Legislator Kim Rhead and his wife, Margaret, to give back to the community where they raised their family. The scholarship supports gifted students who are active in their school, church, and community—especially those who may not qualify for traditional financial aid. Special consideration is given to students who demonstrate leadership and a strong commitment to service. It is available to graduating seniors from Sanilac County, Lapeer or Imlay City.
