Purpose
The Isaac “Ike” Selick Law Enforcement Scholarship was established in 2000 in Ike's memory by his family to give students pursuing a career in law enforcement the chance to achieve their dreams. Ike Selick retired as a Detective Sergeant with the Detroit Police Department in the Central Narcotics Bureau, and he would be pleased to know that, in his memory, a high school graduate receives this scholarship each year to help them pursue a future in law enforcement.
