Purpose
Supports projects that increase awareness about the importance of supporting local farmers, producers, and food pantries within our community; Encourage local businesses, residents, and organizations to actively engage in initiatives that strengthen our local food systems and support food pantries, including volunteering, donating, and participating in educational programs; Provide funding for food, nutrition education, support of local food systems, and hunger reduction efforts in Lapeer County.
