Dr. Andrew J. Hull Cross Country Scholarship

The Dr. Andrew J. Hull Cross Country Scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Dr. Hull, who was a strong supporter of the Sandusky Cross Country Team. Drew, as he was called by his friends, was a 1978 graduate of Sandusky High School and a member of the first Cross Country team with Coach Wayne Roberts. As an anonymous donor to the Cross-Country Club, he supplied their basic needs on a yearly basis. His friends want to continue his legacy by establishing this fund and creating lasting support for this cause while honoring the life of their forever friend. This scholarship is awarded to Sandusky High School graduating seniors who were on the Sandusky Cross Country Team.

The Andrew Kautz Memorial Scholarship was established by family and friends to honor the life of Andrew Kautz and to help others pursue their education. It is awarded to a Sanilac County graduating senior who possesses a 3.2 GPA or greater and is entering the field of Diesel Mechanics or Law Enforcement.

The Barbara Wolfe Magenheim Scholarship was established to commemorate the accomplishments of Dr. Barbara Wolfe Magenheim and her love of education and the field of Nursing. This scholarship is awarded to Sanilac County graduating seniors who have a 3.0 GPA or greater and are pursuing a career in healthcare. Preference is given to graduating seniors of Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School and/or students entering the field of nursing.

The Bluewater Shore Herb Guild Culinary Scholarship was established by Bluewater Shore Herb Guild and supports graduating Sanilac County high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a long-term interest in herbal studies, particularly through culinary arts or agriculture. Preference given to students pursuing a career in Culinary.

The Carol Crake Scholarship was established to assist a graduating senior from Brown City, Imlay City or North Branch obtain their future goals while attending college. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.2 or above. **This scholarship is broken up into multiple installments - one per semester, upon minimum GPA requirement being met.

Cass City Promise

The Cass City Promise Fund was established to inspire and support a community-wide commitment to post secondary education—whether that means college or trade school—for every Cass City High School graduate. Through the Children’s Savings Account (Red Hawk Nest Egg) and the Scholarship (Red Hawk Flight), the Promise provides both encouragement and financial assistance. Gifts to this fund help sustain the program, its mission, and special incentives for students.

The Cheryl Thomas Memorial Scholarship was established in her memory by her family. Cheryl was a respected, long-time coach at Marlette Schools. Eligible applicants for the scholarship must be graduating seniors of Marlette High School and have participated in high school athletics.

This scholarship is possible because of the Croswell-Lexington Eagles Aerie 4465. The Fraternal Order of Eagles uphold and nourish the values of home, family, and community. This scholarship is in support of students in our community who desire to further their education while demonstrating the values of the Fraternal Order of Eagles organization as demonstrated through community service and leadership. Preferences given to students that have family members who are past/present Eagles members.
