Cass City Promise

The Cass City Promise Fund was established to inspire and support a community-wide commitment to post secondary education—whether that means college or trade school—for every Cass City High School graduate. Through the Children’s Savings Account (Red Hawk Nest Egg) and the Scholarship (Red Hawk Flight), the Promise provides both encouragement and financial assistance. Gifts to this fund help sustain the program, its mission, and special incentives for students.

Sanilac County Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC)

The Sanilac County Child Abuse Prevention Council Fund was established to support the vital work of preventing child abuse through ongoing education and community engagement. For more than 32 years, the Council has been dedicated to fostering safe, nurturing environments where children and families can thrive. Through education, enrichment programs, and advocacy for children and their families, this fund helps ensure that every child in Sanilac County has the opportunity to grow up healthy, safe, and supported by a caring community.

Debbie Martin Teacher

The Debbie Martin Teacher Fund was established by her family to honor Debbie, a teacher who touched many lives during her years as a Croswell-Lexington Middle School math teacher. This fund provides support for classroom supplies for new teacher hires at Croswell-Lexington Middle School. This fund also supplements the Dawn Dennison scholarship, which was established in honor of Debbie's late sister.

Deckerville Education Foundation - Susan Spencer Scholarship

The Suzanne Spencer Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Suzanne Spencer, a 1962 graduate of Deckerville High School, who held deep pride in her hometown and her home state. She valued her family, friends, and community, and believed strongly in supporting the next generation. This fund supports the Deckerville Education Foundation in providing grants to deserving teachers at Deckerville Community Schools.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Sanilac County

The Sanilac County Community Foundation has partnered with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to provide FREE books to every child in Sanilac County from birth through age 5. Registered children will receive an age-appropriate book mailed directly to them every month.

Marlette Community Schools Endowment

The Marlette Community Schools Endowment Fund was established to provide education grants for teachers at Marlette Community Schools to enhance classroom instruction, through the implementation of new curriculum and/or programs.

Sanilac County Promise

The Sanilac County Promise Fund was established with the promise that every child starting kindergarten in Sanilac County will automatically receive a long-term savings account that will have the opportunity for growth throughout their K-12 years. Upon graduation, the money saved in their Promise Fund can be used for any post-secondary attainment. Gifts to this fund help sustain the program, its mission, and special incentives for students.
