Jones-Kula Writing Fund
Purpose
Lena Jane Jones, widow of Stephen D. Jones, has established this fund to support the growth of writing proficiency in Summers County. In recent years, grants have supported the Student Writing Contest for Summers County students in Grades 3 through 12. Groups or individuals that demonstrate a specific need in writing proficiency with a measurable outcome are invited to apply for grants.
