Campaign 2000
Purpose
Campaign 2000 is the general scholarship fund for the Hinton Area Foundation. Scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in post-secondary education who are graduates of Summers County Public Schools, or who are residents of Summers County and have maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average for the four years of high school. Scholarships are initially awarded for the academic year for which the student applies, with a tentative commitment to continue funding for a total of four years of undergraduate work. Continuation of funding is contingent upon the student’s pursuit of a regular course of study while maintaining at least a 2.5 grade point average, availability of funds and an annual application for funding.
