Bill Van Sant Scholarship Fund
Purpose
Created in memory by his family, the Bill Van Sant Scholarship Fund provides an annual scholarship to a Summers County resident who has a demonstrated financial need and a GPA of at least 3.0. Candidates must have demonstrated ambition through participation in high school activities. Preference is given to, but not limited to, those who want to teach. Bill was a retired teacher of social studies and American history who believed in the power of education and the Summers County School System was very important to him.
