EFG Wellness & Mental Health Fund

The Education Foundation of Greenville Recognizes the increasing pressures the youth of our community are facing resulting in high levels of mental health concerns. The EFG Wellness and Mental Health Fund is established to provide financial assistance for activities and supports that will enhance the physical and mental well-being of any individual student or groups of students of the Greenville Public Schools. The priority of the funds will be for the sustainability and the on-going support of comfort dogs within the school system. Additional needs are to be identified by the professional staff of the school district and should be focused on meeting the physical and mental health needs of students that will ensure their success in school. Mr. Padden was always a strong supporter of the LCS Band program and also a professional Tenor Saxophone player, so the intent of the donors is that grants from this fund support the purchase of band instruments for the Lakeview High School band program but also music development programs in the children in the Lakeview area if the high school band program should ever cease to exist.
