About this Fund

At the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC), our herd of therapy horses is at the heart of everything we do. Funds raised support the daily care, veterinary services, specialized nutrition, and retirement of these incredible animals who partner with us in life-changing work. CTRC is proud to be a member of the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS), reflecting our commitment to the highest standards of equine welfare. Your support ensures these horses receive the love, dignity, and care they deserve throughout their working years and beyond.

CTRC provides equine-assisted services to children and adults ages 3 to 103 with a wide range of physical, cognitive, emotional, and developmental disabilities. Our programs are designed to improve strength, confidence, balance, and overall well-being through meaningful interactions with horses in a safe, inclusive environment. Funds raised help expand access to these services, maintain our facilities, and grow our capacity to serve more individuals in need. Every dollar supports our mission to create a more connected, compassionate, and empowered community—one stride at a time. We are also a Premier Accredited Center through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship since 1982.
