Early Learning Center Hubbard Hill - SGO
Purpose
This SGO Scholarship allows Early Learning Center Hubbard Hill to offer scholarships to eligible students from charitable donations managed by the Community Foundation of Elkhart County.
The Community Foundation of Elkhart County is certified by the Indiana Department of Education as a Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) under Indiana Code 20-51-1-7 and operates an approved school scholarship program in accordance with Indiana Code 20-51-3-1.
As an SGO, we can receive donations that provide scholarships for eligible students attending qualified, non-public schools in Elkhart County. These contributions are also eligible for a 50% state tax credit through the Indiana School Scholarship Tax Credit Program (Indiana Code 6-3.1-30.5), subject to availability of state-allocated credits.
To ensure your contribution qualifies for the tax credit, we will collect necessary information from you or your business and submit the required application to the Indiana Department of Revenue on your behalf.
To receive the tax credit a minimum donation of $100 is required.
Once your donation is processed and approved, we will mail you a receipt for your records and tax filing.
