APIC-YAKIMA FUND

Asian Pacific Islander Coalition of Yakima Valley brings together Asian and Asian Pacific Islanders (including immigrants, refugees, & citizens) to use our collective strength to empower & advance our community. We fully support coalition diversity building within our BIPOC Community to ensure equal representation and civic empowerment in issues that matter to our AAPI community. AAPI immigrant families should transition to calling Yakima Valley home through civic engagement, education, and access to transitional state and federal programs.

NATIVE WOMEN IN ACTION FUND (MMIW)

Native Women in Action works to bring awareness and resolution to issues around missing and murdered indigenous people and to assist the Yakima Nation tribal population living in and around the Yakima Reservation. Native Friends, led by Emily Washines, worked throughout the pandemic to collect and distribute resources such as nourishing food for elders, gas cards, and health safety information to people across the Yakima Reservation to protect and provide for those in need. RANDALL PARK FUND

Help fund two side-by-side pump tracks at Randall Park: a smaller one for expert bikers featuring several jumps and a larger track with a beginner section and an ADA component so it’s accessible for everyone. The tracks are for any non-motorized vehicles on wheels, including scooters, skateboards, and wheelchairs.

RIMROCK RETREAT FIRE RELIEF FUND

White Pass – Rimrock Retreat Fire Relief Fund: Support people and local businesses experiencing hardship due to the wildfire. Your donation will support the US 12 community as they work to recover. Monies may benefit both individuals in need and local businesses with a demonstrated hardship. Funds will be administered by the Yakima Valley Community Foundation in concert with Yakima County Development Association.
