MILLER PARK IMPROVEMENT FUND
Purpose
Miller Park is one of Yakima's largest community parks, located in one of the City's poorest and most diverse neighborhoods. Community supporters are leading a campaign with the mission of "Revitalizing Miller Park as the heart of the community." Their goals are to improve safety, encourage health and recreation, and create a community gathering place for education, outreach, and collaboration. This campaign is a partnership between the community and Yakima Parks & Recreation. Donations will help restore the basketball courts, add ADA-accessible paths and play equipment, and help implement other necessary improvements.
