FRIENDS OF CAMP FIFE FUND
Purpose
The Friends of Camp Fife Fund allows for purchasing the historic 64-acre Camp Fife Boy Scout Camp property at Goose Prairie on Chinook Pass. The Camp Fife property serves up to 400 campers each week in its state-of-the-art dining hall and beautifully wooded group campsites, as well as a variety of historic cabins and lodges in use year-round. Camp Fife has a heated pool, marksmanship ranges, a renowned equestrian program, a C.O.P.E. course, a climbing tower with zip line, offers blacksmithing, and at nearby Bumping Lake, even boating. The purchase will help stabilize scouting programs throughout the region for thousands of youth. It will also ensure the 98-year old camp continues to serve youth within other nonprofit organizations throughout the Yakima Valley and beyond for generations to come.
