Ambulance Endowed Fund

The Ambulance Fund was established in 2005 with funds raised to purchase a new ambulance for the City of Mackinac Island. The excess money raised has been endowed to assist in future expenses associated with Mackinac Island's ambulance needs.

Ambulance Expendable Fund

The Ambulance Expendable Fund will be utilized to purchase an ambulance that will provide emergency transportation and care to residents, workers and visitors.

Armin William Porter Memorial Fund

The fund was established by Armin Porter's family and friends to honor his life by providing assistance to preserve and maintain Historic Wawashkamo Golf Course.

Mackinac Island Cemetery Preservation Fund

The Mackinac Island Cemetery Preservation Fund was established to support the work of the Mackinac Island Cemetery Board in their projects, repairs and replacement of cemetery stones.

Cornerstone Fund

The Cornerstone Fund was established to support the operating costs of the Community Foundation which benefits the entire community of Mackinac Island.

Dorothy Dehring Fund

A portion of the Fund income shall be used to support programming at Ste. Anne’s Catholic Church of Mackinac Island.

EUP Can Do It Fund

A fund created by The Mackinac Island Community Foundation and other EUP Community Foundations to support the operations of EUP Can Do It, further students access post secondary education.

Lois Griffin Flower Basket Fund

This endowment fund provides a yearly grant to purchase the beautiful flower baskets that hang on Main Street every year.

Mackinac Arts Council Endowment Fund

This endowment supports the operations of the Mackinac Arts Council as it meets the arts and cultural needs of the Mackinac Island community.

Mackinac Horsemen's Association Fund

This fund is established to support the Mackinac Horsemen's Association.

Mackinac Island Medical Center Fund

The Mackinac Island Medical Center Fund provides a permanent stream of support to assist the Medical Center in providing the best care for residents, workers and visitors.

Mackinac Island Public Library Fund

Grand Hotel established the Mackinac Island Public Library Fund to provide perpetual support to protect and preserve this important institution.

The Mackinac Island Recreational Developement Fund, Inc. (M.I.R.D) Fund

The fund was established to support the Mackinac Island Recreational Development of residents, summer employees, and visitors of Mackinac Island, and to provide funding for important recreational outlets on Mackinac Island like the Ski Club and Great Turtle Park.

Mackinac Marine Rescue Fund

The Mackinac Marine Rescue Team is made up of volunteer personnel serving the Mackinac Island area that specialize in Marine Rescue operations. This fund perpetually assists their operations.

Mackinac State Historic Parks Fund

This fund provides perpetual support for the collecting, preservation, study and interpretation of the unique cultural and natural resources of the Straits of Mackinac region, through the activities of Mackinac State Historic Parks.

Martin Petersen Historical Writing Fund

Dr. Richard, Jr. and Catharine Ernestine Reeser and Dr. Richard Reeser Fund

Created in memory of Dr. Richard, Jr. and Catharine Ernestine Reeser and Dr. Richard Reeser by their daughter and drand daughter, Nancy Reeser, to benefit the Mackinac Island Medical Center.
