ACT SIX/READY TO RISE FUND
Purpose
Proven programs delivering leadership training, inspiration, and support to diverse college students. Act Six is a full-tuition, full-need scholarship program for Yakima Valley's diverse, multicultural cadres of young leaders who are committed to anti-racism and social justice. The program selects students who want to use their college education to make a positive difference in their communities and on campus. The "Ready to Rise Yakima Valley" program is a mentorship initiative aimed at supporting high school seniors in their journey through college. The program is designed to help diverse emerging leaders grow and thrive together, while equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for leadership in their community.
