Always Leave Smiling Foundation

This fund was created to honor the legacy of Tom Watson. Grants from the fund will be used to support Barry County residents with expenses associated with cancer treatment, and assisting youth in entering the trades.

American Red Cross, Barry County Fund

The fund shall be used to support the charitable purposes of the American Red Cross in Barry County.

Angel Fund

The fund shall be used to support the charitable programs, projects and scholarships in Barry County.

Barry Community Free Clinic Fund

The fund shall be used to provide free non-emergency medical and dental care, low cost or no-cost medications and access to free local social services to low income and uninsured adult individuals through a professional and independent Free Clinic provided by volunteers.

Barry Community Resource Network

The fund shall be used to support the purposes for which the Barry Community Resource Network was established.

Barry Community Trial Court Initiative Fund

The purpose of the fund is to support the residents to maintain public safety and promote the development of responsible citizens in Barry County.

Barry County Bar Association Fund

The Barry County Bar Association believes this award can meaningfully enhance the Barry County community. Preference will be given to projects that provide a tangible community benefit, are, in some way, connected to the legal system and/or the rule of law, and demonstrate the potential for sustainability over several years.

Barry County COA Building Project

This fund will help support the construction of a COA building on a site where Commission on Aging hopes to be a part of a bigger senior-centric community. Currently 26% of Barry County residents are over 60 and this number is growing. This new facility will allow the Commission on Aging to respond to the changing demographics of our county.

Barry County Commission on Aging Fund

Funds to be expended for assistance to aged and/or disabled residents of Barry County who are at risk of losing the ability to live in their own homes because of the need to pay for modifications and repairs to their homes and/or to fund transportation.

Barry County Housing Fund

Attainable and Desirable Housing for All. Safe, attainable, and affordable housing is a key pillar to a healthy, vibrant community. A stable housing inventory is critical to its economic well-being. When housing expenses are more than 30% of a family's income, it impacts their ability to afford basic needs.

Barry County United Way - Homelessness Prevention Fund

For the support of efforts to prevent homelessness in Barry County.

Barry County United Way Family Economic Security Office Fund

Support the activities of the Barry County Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

Barry County Workforce Housing Assistance Fund

Barry Intermediate School District Fund

The fund shall be used to support the charitable programs and projects of the Barry Intermediate School District.

BCF Healthy Community Grantmaking Fund

The purpose of the fund is to provide unrestricted grantmaking dollars available to Barry County programs and projects. The grant committee of the Barry Community Foundation makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on how the money should be awarded.

BCF Youth Advisory Council Fund

The purpose of this fund is to support the charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes of the Barry Community Foundation's Youth Advisory Council.

BCUW Florence Tyden Groos Memorial Fund for the Barry County United Way

To distributions from this fund will support the Barry County United Way's administrative expenses.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters, A Community of Caring for Barry County Fund

The fund shall be used to support the charitable activities of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Barry County program.
