Lorraine Dahlgren Scholarship Fund - TAEF
Purpose
It is the intention of the Lorraine Dahlgren Scholarship Fund to award a scholarship to a first-generation college-bound student graduating from Thornapple Kellogg Schools exhibiting leadership skills and pursuing a degree or certificate at an accredited college, university, technical or vocational school. Eligibility Criteria: - Must be a graduating high school senior from Thornapple Kellogg Schools. - Must be from the first generation of college/post-secondary school bound student in the family. - Must be accepted at an accredited post-secondary school or vocational/technical institute. - Financial need is not a requirement, but students must fill out the FAFSA application: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov - Applicants will be evaluated on their essays. - Leadership experience is required. - Work experience is preferred.
