The Bridge Fund
Purpose
The Belonging in Barry Fund is dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts in Barry County. We believe diversity encompasses, but is not limited to, race, ethnicity, economic circumstances, zip code, age, health and ability status, sexual orientation, religion, gender identity and expression, resident or immigration status, or national origin. We know that to achieve inclusive, healthy, resilient, thriving communities, all people in our region must have equitable access to the resources they need to reach their full potential. The Fund supports diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in Barry County, including supporting organizations led by Black, Indigenous, people of color, LGBTQ+, immigrant, neurodiverse, and/or disability community members. We will also consider DEI training and learning and other partners, programs, and opportunities promoting equity and inclusion.
