Robert B. Morris Memorial Fund
Purpose
This fund provides income to Bob Moriss’ 3 favorite charities in Lake Odessa: the public library, the historical society, and the trails systems. Bob Morris was raised in Lake Odessa Michigan, graduating in 1968. He lived his California dream in the San Diego area, after graduating from Michigan State University. Preserving rural environments and the Sierra Club were his passions. Bob was preparing for his retirement, working on his farm house and historic barn whenever he came home. Bob completed his legacy plan in Aug 2015. He unexpectedly passed away at this home in San Diego in June 2017. While he did not realize his dream of returning to his childhood home in retirement, his legacy will forever live on.
