Frank Conor Memorial Reaching for the Future Scholarship - DKEF
Purpose
This scholarship will be awarded to a Delton Kellogg, Maple Valley, Hastings or Thornapple Kellogg graduating senior of the alternative education program who plans to pursue a career path requiring college or a vocational/technical course of study or potentially, equipment/tools required to complete such training. Work habits, attendance and level of effort will also be considered in awarding this scholarship for on-going advanced learning. Eligibility Criteria: - Student must be a graduating senior of the Alternative Education Programs at each of the 4 Barry County School Districts. - Student must be accepted to an accredited educational institution. - Student must provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, employer, community leader, or religious leader. - Student will be evaluated on essay content.
