This fund was created to honor the legacy of Tom Watson. Grants from the fund will be used to support Barry County residents with expenses associated with cancer treatment, and assisting youth in entering the trades.
American Red Cross, Barry County Fund
The fund shall be used to support the charitable purposes of the American Red Cross in Barry County.
B.Healthy
Funds will primarily be used to fund initiatives through the B. Healthy Coalition. The initiatives and work plan created by Pennock Hospital and the Coalition.
Barry Community Free Clinic Fund
The fund shall be used to provide free non-emergency medical and dental care, low cost or no-cost medications and access to free local social services to low income and uninsured adult individuals through a professional and independent Free Clinic provided by volunteers.
Barry Community Resource Network
The fund shall be used to support the purposes for which the Barry Community Resource Network was established.
Barry County COA Building Project
This fund will help support the construction of a COA building on a site where Commission on Aging hopes to be a part of a bigger senior-centric community. Currently 26% of Barry County residents are over 60 and this number is growing. This new facility will allow the Commission on Aging to respond to the changing demographics of our county.
Barry County Healthy Youth & Senior's Fund
The fund shall be used to promote health and prevention of health crisis for young & senior adults in Barry County.
Barry Health Access Fund
To increase health care access for the underinsured or underserved in Barry County
BCF Healthy Community Grantmaking Fund
The purpose of the fund is to provide unrestricted grantmaking dollars available to Barry County programs and projects. The grant committee of the Barry Community Foundation makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on how the money should be awarded.
BCF Youth Advisory Council Fund
The purpose of this fund is to support the charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes of the Barry Community Foundation's Youth Advisory Council.
Bill Porter Memorial Charity Golf Classic Fund
To support the annual charitable golf tournament at the Legacy of Hastings in memory of Bill Porter. This fund shall be used to grant money to the charities benefited by the outing, which vary annually.
Brice's Light Special Project Fund
Brice's Light inspires by supporting women through post-partum loss with healing resources and raising mental health awareness, highlighting the transformative power of compassion.
Carl Grashuis Family Fund
For Ann Davis and next generation to make recommendations on distributions from this charitable family fund.
CERC Scoreboard & Record Board Fund
To purchase a new scoring and timing system for the Community Enrichment & Recreational Center at the Hastings Schools system, used by the Hastings, Middleville & Delton swimmers.
Corewell Health - Pennock
The fund shall be used to support the betterment of the Pennock Health Services Organization.
Dan Dykstra Jr. Memorial Scholarship - TAEF
This donor advised fund was established by Barb and David Dykstra to assist financially in the education of a Thornapple Kellogg graduating senior who is interested in a technical, trade, vocational or degree requiring a certification.
Dave Storms YMCA Community Outreach Fund
To support community outreach efforts by the YMCA of Barry County such as Y Mentors, CATCH Summer Playground, Y on the Fly, and the B. Bus Mobile Library.
Delton Area Rotary Club Fund
The Delton Area Rotary Club was founded on the motto of 'Service above Self' and developed this scholarship fund to reward students who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service as well as leadership skills. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide 2 non-renewable scholarships to graduating Delton-Kellogg students (1 for a student going to a college/university and 1 for a student pursuing a technical/vocational program).
