Raver Family Scholarship
To provide a scholarship. It is the desire of the donors to provide scholarships to offset the cost of tuition and required fees to attend an accredited institute of higher learning to deserving students. It is the preference of the donors that each scholarship award be no less than $1,000, annually.
SELECTION CRITERIA
• Be a resident of Indiana;
• Be a graduating student at Batesville High School, Batesville, Indiana.
1. Robert G. Raver Football Scholarship
• Be a member of the Batesville High School Varsity Football team; and
• Be selected by the Batesville High School Football players (not the coaches) based on the football player who is not necessarily the best player, but the one who “makes the most of his God given abilities.”
2. Nancy Raver Boys’ Basketball Scholarship
• Be a member of the Batesville High School Boys’ Varsity Basketball team; and
• Be selected by the Batesville High School Boys’ Basketball players (not the coaches) based on the teammate who is not necessarily the best player, but the one who “makes the most of his God given abilities.”
3. Raver Family Women’s Basketball Scholarship
• Be a member of the Batesville High School Women’s Varsity Basketball team; and
• Be selected by the Batesville High School Women’s Basketball players (not the coaches) based on the teammate who is not necessarily the best player, but the one who “makes the most of her God given abilities.”
4. Raver Family Volleyball Scholarship
• Be a member of the Batesville High School Women’s Varsity Volleyball team; and
• Be selected by the Batesville High School Women’s Volleyball players (not the coaches) based on the teammate who is not necessarily the best player, but the one who “makes the most of her God given abilities.”
