Purpose
Jenna (nee Cornett) Homola was born and raised in Ripley County. She taught special education in both South Ripley and Switzerland County School Corporations and had a special appreciation for those communities. She passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2022. This scholarship was established by her family and friends to honor the beauty she brought to this world and the light she left behind. Eligibility requirements are: Residents of Indiana. Be a graduate of any high school in Ripley, Dearborn, Switzerland, Ohio, or Franklin Counties with preference being given to graduates of South Ripley High School and Switzerland County High School. Those pursuing an undergraduate baccalaureate degree in the field of Education with preference in Special Education. Those entering (1st year) with preference given to current college students in the 2-3rd year of study.
