Their lives were enriched by those friendships and they enjoyed living in the Osgood community. This trust fund is their contribution to the improvement in the quality and enjoyment of life for the citizens of the Town of Osgood and its surrounding community.
It was Roy and Hilda's hope and wish that the people of the Osgood community would gain some benefit and enjoyment from this gift and that their lives would be made a little better because of it. Additionally, they hoped that the establishment of this fund would be a 'legacy of giving', which would inspire others in the Osgood community to leave something for the benefit of those who will follow.
