Stewards of the Georgia Coast Fund

Stewards of the Georgia Coast is a network of donors who have a passion for coastal conservation philanthropy. Our mission is to widen the circle of people who recognize the special qualities of the Georgia coast and who feel motivated to work on its behalf - with charitable giving, personal engagement, and influence. To achieve this, Stewards of the Georgia Coast hosts educational gatherings and publishes communications to increase awareness of and investment in coastal conservation nonprofits. Sustainer donations to the Stewards of the Georgia Coast Fund at the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation can be directed to the following efforts: ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Operating expenses: Gifts offsetting the costs of Stewards programming, increasing our outreach, amplifying our mission, and ensuring the Stewards network's long-term sustainability. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Conservation grantmaking: Undesignated gifts to coastal conservation, collectively managed by a Stewards advisory committee and redistributed periodically to nonprofit conservation partner organizations. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Crowdfunding: Gifts supporting special coastal conservation projects that have unusual urgency, made in response to Stewards' occasional campaigns for particularly compelling and time-sensitive needs of coastal conservation nonprofit organizations.

The William Bernard McCloud Community Impact Fund

Contributions to this fund go directly to CCGF’s annual competitive award cycle which offers funding for non-profit organizations serving Glynn, Camden, and McIntosh Counties. As a former CCGF board member and active Community Impact Committee (CIC) member, Bernard McCloud served his community with distinction and purpose. CCGF can think of no better tribute than to rename the Foundation’s annual competitive award in recognition of his dedication to and love for his coastal home. CCGF hopes this fund and the awards that come from it reflect the best aspects of the Foundation and the community that Bernard helped build and shape, ensuring that the work we do is For Good, Forever.
