The Cole Collection Fund is named after Virginia Cole Galvin Crouse. Her middle name "Cole" is in honor of her mother, whose first cousin was Cole Porter. Started by her granddaughter, Megan Cole Rockey, the Fund promotes Virginia’s core values of faith, family, and philanthropy. The Fund assist children in foster care with Allen County Children's Services.

This fund was established for the exclusive purpose of providing program and capital support for the churches of Allen and Hardin Counties of Ohio. Types of support would include, but are not limited to the following: Church choir robes, athletic equipment for church related sporting events, sound equipment to enhance the worship service, purchase of hymnals or acquisition of musical instruments.

Once an independent 501©(3), the Lima City Schools Foundation came under the Lima Community Foundation to better meet its needs and advance the programs of the Lima City Schools. Many of the sub funds are given by payroll deductions of teachers within the Fund.
