The Education Foundation of Greenville Recognizes the increasing pressures the youth of our community are facing resulting in high levels of mental health concerns. The EFG Wellness and Mental Health Fund is established to provide financial assistance for activities and supports that will enhance the physical and mental well-being of any individual student or groups of students of the Greenville Public Schools. The priority of the funds will be for the sustainability and the on-going support of comfort dogs within the school system. Additional needs are to be identified by the professional staff of the school district and should be focused on meeting the physical and mental health needs of students that will ensure their success in school. This would include providing funds for counseling and outside therapy such as mindfulness, movement, art, music, and equine-assisted therapy along with camps that provide some type of mental health support. provide funding for support programs and/or projects specific to student wellness at Greenville Public Schools
