The St. Marys Grade School is seeking financial support to provide educational games and resources that can supplement our core curriculum and better support student learning in the classroom. Our school has placed a strong emphasis on providing interventions within the classroom and creating systems that allow teachers to regularly check in with students and provide targeted support that best meets the needs of individual students or small groups. 

For this to happen effectively, there are times when a teacher is working with a small group of students and needs the other groups to remain actively engaged with the subject matter. Instead of simply placing those students on a computer or other technology, we want to provide educational games and hands-on resources that keep students actively involved in their learning. 

There are many educational interactive games and other resources that make learning fun while reinforcing the key skills we want our students to master. More importantly, many of these activities can be completed independently by students. This allows teachers to provide small-group interventions and targeted instruction during core classes such as English-language arts and math while other students continue to be meaningfully engaged with the content.
