Hurand Connection Fund
The Hurand Connection Fund funds projects that use arts and creativity to bring together people of different backgrounds and groups. We highlight voices of poets, artists, and creators who help to inspire and connect us around challenging issues that sometimes divide us. Our projects are positively focused, as opposed to those in protest. We bring together and hear, rather than shut out or deny. While not all Jewish in content and direction, all of our projects are rooted in the Jewish values of justice, humanism, and love. Hurand Connection Fund was co-founded by Josh Hurand, of blessed memory during his cancer treatment. He loved his family dearly, the Tucson community, and had a vision of building community through poetry and creative expression. It is a joy to see Josh's vision in every new HCF project and the expansion of people touched by this effort.
