Arts and Culture - Interest Area

The Arts and Culture Fund brings creativity to life across our region by supporting the people, places, and programs that help communities feel vibrant and connected. Your gift strengthens local arts and cultural organizations, expands access to performances and exhibits, supports arts learning for young people and adults, and advances creative projects that reflect our community’s identity. When you give, you help ensure that more residents can experience the arts, celebrate local talent, and build pride and belonging through shared cultural experiences.

Pottstown Play Streets

Pottstown Play Streets is a seasonal program that temporarily closes neighborhood streets to traffic and transforms them into free community spaces for play, connection, and family-friendly activities. Your donation helps keep Play Streets free and accessible by supporting play equipment, activity supplies, outreach, and partner-led engagement that brings resources directly into neighborhoods. When you give, you help create safe places for children to play close to home, strengthen neighborhood relationships, and bring joy and connection to blocks across Pottstown. Pottstown Play Streets is led by the Borough of Pottstown Parks and Recreation Department. They are part of an annual Pottstown Play Streets Coalition convened by the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation. The coalition works together to provide this program to Pottstown residents. Your donation helps keep Play Streets free and accessible to all. With your support, we can continue turning ordinary streets into extraordinary spaces for movement, joy, and community-building across Pottstown.
