The Stanley McNaughton Sanderson Scholarship Fund is established by the Greater Coeur d'Alene Community Foundation in memory of Stanley “Sandy” M. Sanderson, a lifelong Coeur d’Alene resident and beloved electrician known for his expertise, generosity, and unwavering integrity. Sandy spent decades helping neighbors, elderly clients, and civic groups, always showing up with the same steady commitment to honest work and community service.

This endowed fund will support the electrician's program at North Idaho College, helping young people pursue careers in the electrical trades. The scholarship reflects Sandy’s desire to see future electricians become the same kind of tradesperson he was — skilled, ethical, and deeply rooted in service to others.
